We are busy planning for the upcoming season. Below are a few of the things we're working on right now. Contact the person listed for more information about any of the events. For general information, contact email@example.com. We look forward to seeing you this year.
2008 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Blue Knights. Join us in Denver July 10 - 12 for an Alumni/Family reunion to help celebrate this golden anniversary. The festivities will begin Thursday evening (July 10) with a family picnic, and culminate with Drums Along The Rockies on Saturday night (July 12). We will also be hosting a homecoming pep rally for the corps, followed by an Alumni Happy Hour, and a huge tailgate party on Saturday before the show. We look forward to you coming home and celebrating with us. For more details and ticket information, click here.
Join the Alumni Association and the Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps for a pancake breakfast on April 27. Have breakfast with the corps, then enjoy a special Bird's Eye Tour behind the scenes with the Blue Knights. For more details and ticket information, click here.
Memorial Day Potluck
This family event will bring out the cook in all of us. Join us Monday, May 26th for a pot-luck lunch, followed by the annual BK Mystery Tour, and a special performance by the 2008 Blue Knights. Stop by and watch rehearsal any time that weekend, but don't miss all the food and fun Monday afternoon. For details, check the Calendar of Events. Be sure to stop by the Alumni tent and say hello!

Each year we welcome new members into the alumni association. Join us this summer for the 7th annual Age-Out BBQ, where we invite the 2008 Age-outs to take a break from long rehearsals in the sun, get to know the alumni, and enjoy some yummy food. We will also be presenting the official BK Age-out Dog Tags, and inviting the newest (soon-to-be) alumni to join the Alumni Association at the end of the summer.

Adopt a Rookie
New this year! Do you remember what your rookie year was like? Young? Alone? Scared? Confused? Totally clueless? Do you have ideas on how to help new rookies? Help us shower our rookies with love. Answer any questions they may have about drum corps life, send care packages, "pimp" their seats, write them motivational letters on tour, contribute to their dues, work a bingo for them. Those are just a few suggestions. Adopt a rookie this year, and do whatever you can to help make a new Blue Knight's life just a little easier this summer. The sky's the limit.

Can you spare one evening each month? How about a weekend? Rosalie is always in need of help at camp. A variety of opportunities are available for every level of skill. Help with the busy check-in period on Friday night. Help serve a meal. Help clean up after meals. Make a run to the airport. Watch the current members during and between rehearsals, and notice that as different as drum corps is these days, some things never change! Plus, you get to enjoy those sweet drum corps sounds you've been missing all these years. To find out when you can help, check the Camp Schedule.
